Mark has experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate renewal, operational efficiencies, corporate finance, strategic planning, organizational design, marketing & sales. Mark spent over twenty-two (22) years in the corporate environment serving as a corporate officer and president of two publicly held companies.

Since 1997, Mark has worked extensively with businesses developing “Growth Strategies” which include Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategic Planning and Organizational Design. Additionally, he has raised debt and equity capital, performed business valuation and structured several transactions in a variety of industries.

Mark served as the interim CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce and, because of his experience in working with small to middle-market businesses, he was asked by Governor Huntsman to serve as the Director of Entrepreneur Development in the Governor's Office of Economic Development. Mark is a partner with the Pivotal Group in Red Mountain Spa (www.redmountainspa.com), a world class destination resort located in St. George, Utah.

Mark is a graduate of Weber State University and is a Sloan Fellow with a Master of Science & MBA from The Sloan School of Business - Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He lives in Bountiful, Utah with his wife Teena. They are the parents of four children.

  • Chairman of The Board Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce,
  • First Security Bank Advisory Board,
  • Wells Fargo Advisory Board,
  • Executive Committee of Economic Development Corp. of Utah,
  • UITA Board of Trustees,
  • Ballet West, Utah Symphony and Pioneer Theatre,
  • Friends of Utah Golf Board - Responsible for the Senior PGA events in Utah.

  Dean Clark   Dean M. Clark is Chief Financial Officer of Martin Door Manufacturing. He has over 25 years of senior management experience in finance and accounting with manufacturing companies that specialize in building products, construction and high technology. He joined Martin Door in 1996 where he has provided innovative solutions for multi entity businesses distributing products throughout the U.S. and overseas to clients ranging from individual consumers to large national and international accounts. Dean actually enjoys creating and implementing accounting control systems utilizing ERP manufacturing systems logic, lean performance and quality assurance standards.

Dean received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Utah State University in 1985. He has served as president of the Institute of Management Accountants and is currently Chairman of the Utah Manufacturers Association. He and his wife Janet have raised four children and his hobbies include everything to do with family activities, off-road ATV riding and becoming frustrated while watching local sporting events.

  David Haslam   Dave is currently Executive Vice President of Sales for Martin Door Manufacturing. He has been a part of the Martin Team for almost 40 years and has helped fuel the company’s growth. He is a results-oriented leader who always looks for new ways to promote sales and new products. He cares for the garage door dealers who promote Martin Doors, and wants them to be successful. He appreciates the Martin quality and service that the company provides.

David has been actively involved in the garage door industry for many years providing service to the industry. He has been a director for the International Door Association (IDA) and a Director and Vice President of the Far Western Garage Door Association. In those associations he served as Convention Chairman, and actively served on many committees.

David is married to Diana Haslam. They have five children and 14 grandchildren. David enjoys being with his family, playing with the grandchildren, and being involved and providing service to his church and community. David and Diana live in Bountiful, Utah.

  Dan Herzog   Dan is a veteran in the garage door business, having spent the last 39 years working in various facets of the garage door industry.  He has worked as an installer, gaining valuable technical knowledge, a Home Depot Account rep for Martin Doors, a Martin Door dealer rep and, his favorite, retail sales and service manager at Martin Factory Sales.  Dan enjoys sharing his garage door knowledge with customers and co-workers alike.  He also enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with people of all kinds.

When he’s not working, he enjoys golfing, reading, “jeepin”, fixing his jeep, and vacationing with his wife Evelyn.  They are the parents of 3 children and 9 grandchildren.  Dan says, “they are what make life worthwhile.”

  Robert Scott   Growing up on a farm in Blackfoot, Idaho, some of Robert’s earliest memories are of him working with his father in their family’s sheet metal business hauling steel and small parts around in his red wagon. After an LDS mission to Guatemala, he attended Brigham Young University where he received his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. While attending BYU, he worked construction and for a plastics company, where one of his projects introduced him to Martin Doors in 1994. When not at work, you will find him enjoying the company of his wife Jennifer and their 6 beautiful children.
